1. Definition of Delivery Period or Shipment Period:
Quite many times, we find our customer misunderstand that the delivery period means the time up to the arrival. But, it actually is NOT.
Internationally, it is commonly agreed that the delivery period or the shipment period means the time up to the shipment (dispatch). It does not mean the time up to arrival. The reason is the transportation or air mail delivery period is varying with the distance of the country of destination and also by the effectiveness of the local mail delivery system once after the goods entered in the territory of the purchaser's country. Our DanceUniverse is located in Seoul, Korea.
For example, if we say the delivery period is 4 days, the airmail delivery (transportation) will take additional 7 days, in case of our shipment of goods to U.S.A. It will be the same situation when we ship the goods to Europe.
2. Shipment by Air Mail:
Our DanceUniverse online shopping process allows customer to select the shipping method of AIR MAIL DELIVERY only for international customers.
3. Other method of shipment such as Express Courier:
We normally DO NOT deal with other method than air mail, But, if customer specifically requires the delivery by Express Courier for the purpose of quicker arrival of the goods even at higher cost, if he or she is willing to pay additional cost. It can be discussed by e-mail to us. If the other shipping method is agreed between the customer and us, the customer will be reuqested by us to send us the credit card information to let us charge the additional shipping cost. (Remark: In the normal online purchasing process, we do not collect nor keep the customer's credit card information except that we are advised from DACOM company of the fact that the card payment was authorized.
4. Shipping Cost Information:
The international shipping cost per piece of goods is not fixed in our system. For example, for a single piece of music CD is approx. U$ 4.90. But, in case of 4 pcs. CD, it is approx. U$ 11.20. In case of 9 pcs. CD, the shipping cost is approx. U$ 22.30.
For a single pair of dance shoes, it is approx. U$ 12.80 - 13.50, which though varies according to the shoes style. For a single piece of some light weight dancewear, it is approx. U$ 12.- But, for competition ballroom dress, the shipping cost goes higher.
Generally speaking, the shipping cost per piece is diminishing with the increased quantity of order. They are automatically calculated inside the ordering process and shipping cost calculation process during the online shopping process, reflecting some factor data such as weight and commodity characteristic. Those data are from our unique and advanced system of database.
5. No worry about the shipping cost:
Our customer need not worry about whether they are too high, or not much satisfactory while he or she once entered into the online purchasing process. Customer may quit from the purchasing process at any stage before the final payment decision. If anything is not satisfied, customer may quit from the procedure, by giving up the purchase itself, as far as it is before the final card payment procedure. There is no risk at all for the customer.
